The AP (1/29) reported, “A Cen­tral Cal­i­for­nia com­pany is recall­ing four brands of fresh cilantro because they may be con­t­a­m­i­nated with sal­mo­nella.” On Fri­day, “Sabor Farms in Sali­nas announced the recall” of “cilantro…sold between Jan. 14 and Jan. 28 under the labels Nature’s Reward, Ocean Mist, Tan­imura & Antle, and Queen Vic­to­ria.” The San Jose Mer­cury News (1/29) reported, “To date, no ill­nesses have been reported for the cilantro grown by Tan­imura & Antle, which has been on store shelves since Jan. 14, the health depart­ment said.”
