For more than 20 years Mr. Keener has helped injury vic­tims and their fam­i­lies receive full jus­tice … the jus­tice they deserved.  Mr. Keener is the son of an Air Force Fighter Pilot, grand­son of two busi­ness own­ers,  great grand­son of a Bap­tist preacher and the 8th great grand­son of Jus­tice Edmund Quincy (1681–1737) of the John Quincy Adams fam­ily.

Born into the world of a mil­i­tary fam­ily, Mr. Keener spent his youth trav­el­ing  the world.   He lived in such places as Casablanca Morocco, Arlington Vir­ginia, Illi­nois, Florida and Fair­banks, Alaska.  He vis­ited many more loca­tions before mov­ing to Geor­gia where he dis­tin­guished him­self in aca­d­e­mic excel­lence at the Uni­ver­sity of Geor­gia (UGA).  At UGA he was awarded a degree in Bach­e­lors of Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion (BBA).  After col­lege he worked for six years in the fam­ily petro­leum busi­ness, which is still run by his brother, in Geor­gia.  Mak­ing the deci­sion that he would choose a dif­fer­ent career path, Mr Keener set after his goal to obtain a law degree.  He received his duel Law Degree (JD) &  Mas­ters of Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion (MBA) from Geor­gia State University.

Licensed to prac­tice law in Geor­gia, Florida and the Dis­trict of Colum­bia, Mr. Keener has always spe­cial­ized in help­ing those who have been injured or dis­abled his entire legal career.  Mr. Keener is also licensed to prac­tice in all courts in the state, as well as the Fed­eral Courts.  He was also nom­i­nated to join the United States Court of Fed­eral Claims.

Mr. Keener is a Mem­ber of the Geor­gia Trial Lawyer’s Asso­ci­a­tion, the Amer­i­can Asso­ci­a­tion for Jus­tice, The Cobb County Bar Asso­ci­a­tion,  the DeKalb County Bar Asso­ci­a­tion and is an Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee Mem­ber of the Geor­gia Trial Lawyer’s Asso­ci­a­tion WCCL section.

As impor­tant as his firm is to him, the same came be said about his pas­sion for his fam­ily.  Mr. Keener has been mar­ried to his wife for more than 25 years, and they reside in metro Atlanta with their three teenage sons.  Mr. Keener has taken not only his pro­fes­sional expe­ri­ences, but also his life expe­ri­ences to help him become the suc­cess­ful attor­ney he is today.  He is com­pas­sion­ate about his work and knows how to get the job done right the first time
