For more than 20 years Mr. Keener has helped injury victims and their families receive full justice … the justice they deserved. Mr. Keener is the son of an Air Force Fighter Pilot, grandson of two business owners, great grandson of a Baptist preacher and the 8th great grandson of Justice Edmund Quincy (1681–1737) of the John Quincy Adams family.
Born into the world of a military family, Mr. Keener spent his youth traveling the world. He lived in such places as Casablanca Morocco, Arlington Virginia, Illinois, Florida and Fairbanks, Alaska. He visited many more locations before moving to Georgia where he distinguished himself in academic excellence at the University of Georgia (UGA). At UGA he was awarded a degree in Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA). After college he worked for six years in the family petroleum business, which is still run by his brother, in Georgia. Making the decision that he would choose a different career path, Mr Keener set after his goal to obtain a law degree. He received his duel Law Degree (JD) & Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgia State University.
Licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida and the District of Columbia, Mr. Keener has always specialized in helping those who have been injured or disabled his entire legal career. Mr. Keener is also licensed to practice in all courts in the state, as well as the Federal Courts. He was also nominated to join the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Keener is a Member of the Georgia Trial Lawyer’s Association, the American Association for Justice, The Cobb County Bar Association, the DeKalb County Bar Association and is an Executive Committee Member of the Georgia Trial Lawyer’s Association WCCL section.
As important as his firm is to him, the same came be said about his passion for his family. Mr. Keener has been married to his wife for more than 25 years, and they reside in metro Atlanta with their three teenage sons. Mr. Keener has taken not only his professional experiences, but also his life experiences to help him become the successful attorney he is today. He is compassionate about his work and knows how to get the job done right the first time
